The Role

We have an amazing opportunity for an Account Manager to join the team at Antares, based in Sydney NSW.

This role would suit a passionate Account Management professional with a strong background in the Technology Consulting Industry. As an award-winning Microsoft Gold Partner, Antares provides the perfect environment to deeply integrate with all aspects of the business, building strong, long-lasting, and mutually beneficial relationships with our clients.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience as a client-facing IT Account Manager, as well as a strong understanding of the Microsoft technology stack that is being offered to clients.

The Account Manager will be responsible for maintaining and building relationships with existing Antares customers across all industries, focused on all three of Antares’ practices (Data & AI, Modern Work and Custom App Dev). These customers will be strategic customers for our business and will be mid-market and enterprise focused. A strategic customer will be a customer that we want to work with in partnership and where we envisage ongoing annual business.

Reporting to our General Manager, this role is a key part of our ability to maintain the highest quality relationships with our clients. Your customer obsessed mindset and passion for creating world-class solutions will be highly valued at Antares.

General Responsibilities & Required Skills

  • End to end account management of existing Antares customers, and expanding on these relationships  
  • Educating customers about Microsoft trends
  • Presenting to customers about our capabilities and how we can help their business
  • Understanding our customer’s businesses and their priorities
  • Be an active, innovative force in weekly Business Development meetings
  • Preparation and presentation of proposals and project documentation as required
  • Managing the sales process from lead to sale for opportunities, and closing sales within existing customer accounts
